I need to restock my slimline kits and see turners warehouse has them for $1.99 instead of the the $2.50 I normally pay. How's the quality compared to woodturningz? I get alot of antique copper kits and use the parts for other pen projects. Anyone with a review of their kits before I give them a try?

I've purchased slimlines from just about all the main sources, but not Turner's Warehouse. The only ones I refuse to purchase again are the Berea ones I got from Bear Tooth Woods. They were the ones with the longer lower tube and shorter upper tube. In my opinion (insert any and all disclaimers about mileage varying, etc), they were garbage. I was originally of the opinion that "hey, for less than $2 a slimline is a slimline." I now stand corrected!

And for what it is worth, that is not a slam to Bear Tooth. I have no issues with them whatsoever! I actually prefer to purchase through them whenever possible.
