trustone gluing?

I drilled my first trustone last night and the inside surface looks very shiney. Should I rough it up a bit with sandpaper or will CA/epoxy stick just fine? What's your experience?

Epoxy, Period!! cheap durable and hold better! I had a pen come back that was 2 or 3 years old, the upper barrel had come un glued. it was done with thick CA, talk about embarrassed:redface::frown:
