What exactly is the deal with trustone? People refer to real stone, but certainly it isn't a piece of turquois that's cut and ready to turn. Drilling solid turquois would be horendous. It sure looks real similar to the real thing. Is it like a corian? Is it like an acrylic with real turqois dust impregnated into it? Does it turn like a corian?

Tru-stone is not consistent from one color to another, so it is hard to answer your question. Try some - I don't recommend starting with lapis, otherwise, the ones I've tried are "dusty" as opposed to coming off in curly-ques. Harder than corian. More like very hard chalk?????

Good way to describe it ed. Kinda rubbery hard chalk. It is supposedly made with ground versions of the real stone. But who knows. I just know it makes for some gorgeous creations.
