Just another couple questions from a rookie;
  1. Is there any place to buy replacement transmissions without buying the entire kit just for the trany? I have wrecked a couple during assembly (XL Twist/Cigar, and Cabara/Polaris Kit).
  2. I recently bought some Carbon Fiber blanks with a 3/8 tube already installed. What is the best way to cut them to length with the tube already in them? I normally use a chop saw to cut my blanks but I think that may damage the tube (or the blade).
Thanks guys!

As for cutting your carbon blanks with the tubes in them. The brass is very soft and I have had no problem cutting them with wood working tools. I have a band saw with a fine tooth blade that cuts them with no problems. I cut them long and then work them to the correct lenght with a disc sander. Some have said to seal the carbon fiber on the ends with CA glue but I have not found the need.
