I am having just a little problem when it comes to the transition from blank to pen tip and sleeve. When I turn the blank I make sure that it is either flush with the bushing or just slightly smaller than the bushing. But by the time I put mt ca on it and buff it out it seems to be alittle big for the transition. If you seen my last post on show off your pens it is the middle pen on the post 4,5, and 6. Thanks for any help in advance

Do not rely on the bushings for accurate transition from blank to parts. You need to measure each pen kits parts with a micrometer or dividers. Turn your blanks to match the kit and not the bushings.

Also, sometimes the bushings are not square with the mandrel rod and not concentric. They are a little "oval" shaped.

Use the bushings as a guide only for size. I have found many differences in stock bushings and the pen kits. I have also found some differences in the same kits from one order or the same kit from two suppliers.

Hope this helps.
