Ti Gold finish

Any body have a problem with the Gold Ti finishes on the Sierra pens, I have one where there is a half oval of gold that is warn down to the TI, this seems like the gold was not totally plated in this area as no other parts of the pen are showing any wear.

here is the picture if you look at the upper edge this is where the gold is missing looks like a "water mark" on a item the was submerged at a angle in the water.

Contact your supplier, they need to know about these things. I'm sure they will take care of you.

I have a black ti w/rhodium sierra I got from Woodcraft ("wallstreet II") that has that exact same "oval" of material missing, shows a silvery spot, about the diameter of regular #2 pencil lead.... also has a slight ding. I didn't notice until I had assembled the pen, DOH!
