Does anyone have a preference to end caps on pens? Tapered or threaded? Does one function (or look) better than the other?
Just wondering why some pens have threads on the cap end and some don't.

Just for variety. Give people choice and see what they like.

I personally like the looks of the tapered caps. I haven't made one yet but writing with unposted Baron seems too short. Posted, it is too long and top heavy. SIGH.

I agree with Dario - offer a variety.

My personal preference is the tapered cap - it looks sleek and elegant. But the threaded cap adds flexibilty.

Dario, perhaps you could extend the length of the body by using a longer tube or by cutting one tube in half and gluing each piece in the ends of the blank, leaving a gap in the middle to lengthen the pen.

George, I ask the same thing several days ago and pretty much got the same response. My solution; I just placed an order at CSUSA for their TN sale and ordered 3 threaded and 2 tapered of each. I guess we'll see what happens.

Dario, don't tell Norma, she'll kill me! [:0]
