A new first for me in how to screw up a pen on assembly. When pressing in the finial of a just completed 30 cal pen, I crimped the threads on the coupler that the nib screws on to. Nib section was pressed in first. Can that be punched out and a new thread assembly installed? If so, does anyone know where I can get a replacement? Many thanks. By the way, I was able to thread the nib onto the remaining thread, but it is literally hanging on by the proverbial one.

Get a good grip on copper nib and just twist to tighten. It will pull the threading out to wear it should be. I have had that happen to me before also. Always press with copper nib in place.

Hope this helps.

PSI would probably sell you one if you phone them at the number on the home page of their website. . They don't often answer emails, I understand.
