Anyone know the thread specs. for the coupler on a Cigar Pen. I am making a couple of custom prototypes and want to use the cigar twist mechanism but I need to build my own couplers.

Not sure which tap and die size I need. Pretty sure its most likely metric

Thanks in advance
Mike

It will depend on who MADE the cigar kit.

They are NOT all the same. (Yes, I am positive and no I don't know whose matches whose).

Where are you getting the transmisions from. I have the ones from WoodenWhimmsies and they are 7.3 x .5 but I have a couple others that are bigger and a different pitch.

Got a bag of 20 twist mechanisms at a yard sale. Matches Daycom mechanism in an old Cigar kit I probably got years ago from CSUSA

Cheers
