Back during Christmas when I first got into pen turning my dad let me try out some Teak Burl he had. I finished it after a blow out using Teak and Teak Burl. I have searched the webernet for some blanks of this wood and have found some rather expensive ones. I would like to support the IAP since I get some great advice here, I've even managed to give a few tips but only when it comes to websites and such. That being said, does anyone have any Teak Burl they would be willing to sell for a decent price. I would be willing to trade some blanks for it if I manage to make it to the Moscow Flea Market for some more Masur Birch and other Russian Root woods.

Thanks

Let me know.

For pen blanks, They are all around $7 each that I've been able to find (I have some from Griffin Exotics). Some places have bigger stock that you could cut down that would drop the price to about $5 (3x3x12 for $90), but that's about as low as you're likely to see.

I don't know of anyone on the board that sells them.
