Two part question (1) I've read a lot about the 60 deg live center but what about the drive or dead center? I assume that it also has to be 60 deg. (2) I understand on larger kits the bushings fit inside the pen blanks, but what about the slims? Can you turn slims between centers? Not sure if I'm missing something.
Thanks in advance.

Answer 1 - yes 60 is recommended
Answer 2 - to turn slimlines between centers you need custom bushings from either Johnnycnc or make them yourself if have that expertise

That's what I thought just wasn't sure. And I guess when you finish the blank you remove the bushings and use the drives in the tubes?
