Are the nib sections of the Statesman and an Imperial interchangable? I'm thinking about buying a few Imperials and that'll determine if I buy all FP or mix them up.
Thanks!

I don't think so, at least on the fp versions the statesman cap threads are on the coupler, and the imperial they are actually cut on the outside of the section. The emperor threads are on the section as well, but the dimensions are totally different between it and the imperial.

But the nibs and feeds are the same!

Thanks James, after looking at the instructions I see what your talking about. Where a Statesmans nib coupler has the cap threads on it, the Imperial has a nib section with the cap threads on it. Thats a shame I've got several Statesman and Gent roller balls so I was going to order some Imperial FP and be able to swap them around....oh well such is not to be.

Hi, the Majestic works with the Gent and Statesman. Another option if you want to mix them up. Majestics are being sold at a good price these days.
