Sublimation & Penturning

I have a sublimation press & assorted crap for printing on to cups etc. We also have the large size one for sublimating pictures onto custom guitar body's.

Has anyone experimented with sublimating pictures onto wood blanks...? I was thinking for wedding pens or even memorabilia...ie births, deaths, marriages etc...family.

I am thinking a CA finish on top...or casting pour??

Any thoughts?

I do sublimation printing on acrylic blanks. I never tried wood. I don't think it would show up very well, if it worked at all.
