Stylus replacement tip

Has anybody tried to replace the stylus rubber tip? This is for the ones that press fit into the slim lines. I know they sell the replacement tips but can not figure out how to get it back in the grooves.

I'll get a pic of the ones I have. I got them from the local pen shop but I know a lot of what they have come from PSI.

Guess nobody has had to replace the rubber piece.

IT LOOKS LIKE SOME I HAVE AND THEY COME A PART AT THAT SEAM YOU SEE IN YOUR PIC...THAT IS IF IT IS LIKE THE ONES I HAVE GOT MINE FROM EBAY

The two parts you show are sold as a unit. The chrome part unscrews and you screw another chrome and rubber part in its' place.

The rubber piece is held in by a brass piece that looks like it is press fit---but that is in the "manufacturing" phase---you are not supposed to take it apart.
