Have a few aero twist kits that I got in an order from csusa a month or so ago.

All thee of them have too much resistance in the twist. Sometimes they squeak just a tiny bit.

I know there have been discussions on this bit can somebody remind me if there's something that works well to loosen them up just a bit.

I recall that wd-40 breaks down the grease way too much.

I've made several aeros before with no probs.

If I get one like that,I apply just 1 drop of gun oil on it,and work it in.

I hate it if it overdoes it,as a loose trans is worse than a tight one,to me.So I do it really carefully and sparingly, trying to get that "Sweet spot"

I made that mistake of using WD,it ruins them.

CSUSA has excellent customer service,I'll bet they would take care of it if asked. They may have had a bad batch.

Try this:

After assembly, yank the tail finial off (yes, it comes off!), and then press it back on by hand gently.

I found that sometimes during assembly, the finial can be pressed too tight and it makes the twist mechanism sticky. This solved the issue for me most of the time.
