Ever since I started making pens out of Acyclic I've been bugged by Squealing and Vibration. The only way I had of arriving at a decent finish was sand papering out the ripples.

Today I really got fed up with it and decided to give "Turning Between Centers" a go - so I turned myself up some mild steel bushes according to the "George Tutorial" - Case Hardened them - and gave it a whirl.

Why was I so surprised when all the vibration disappeared and my Skew started to work again? It really did seem like magic to me as the ribbons just pealed off with not so much as a murmur of protest.

Many thanks to George (Textatdurango) for his most excellent Tutorial.

My word I learn so much from this fraternity its hard to know what to try next.

Kindest regards,
John
