I just made my first Spartan. I can't get the plunger thread on. I have a call into Tony of PSI. And when I depress the internal plunger, the point sticks out too far. My finished barrel is actual .005 of an inch over the the 2.77 length indicated on the instructions - so the opposite should be true.

I have been very gentle with the metal female threads and male plastic threads. Anyone have an possible solution?

Thanks!

I got it to screw on while talking to Tony of PSI. Held the pen horizontally and it screwed in. It was not his advice..I was just playing with it while talking to him. He was willing to fix/replace...good guy. Never had an issue with PSI. The barrel is still too short.

One of the plungers on a kit had a wide diameter and would not fit. It is being replaced. The Spartans are sharp. PSI is awesome to deal with.
