Hard to believe that after all these years I am trying to learn how to put a pix on IAP. Let's see what happens; it now shows as an attachment. I picked it off my Desktop. Wonder what happens next? Oh My, it exists. Snakewood 4in x 5in x 1in thick. 25yrs old and bought in Japan. P.

Agreed, that is probably Lacewood or Leopard wood. Snakewood usually has black marks.

Did you get that at Tokyu-Hands, by any chance?

Easiest way to tell if it's snakewood....Just look at it wrong, if it cracks, it's snakewood lol

In all seriousness, I would agree with the rest of the group. Leopard wood is what first came to my mind.
