WHile I was dripping some CA on a blank last nite(corn cob),I had noe of theose light bulb moments.[^]

I have a Jet mini lathe and was thinking or putting a larger hand wheel on the head stock and finding a motor, may be 12 volt that would attatch to the head stock with a magnetic base.
The drive would be a friction drive similar to the "Cape Cod" drive units that used to be popular.Rubber wheel just making contact with the newly installed handwheel on the lathe.
It would seem I could rvolve teh lathe slower than the 500 rpm.

You know, that might work! It's not like you would need something with a lot of torque. All it needs to do is spin the spindle slowly while you drip finish onto the pen. Hmmmm - you might have something there! I'm not sure you would even have to change out the handwheel. Let me know if you take this any further, OK?

Scott.
