Hi all,

Anyone aware of a way to take a sketch pencil apart?

LOML made one for me a couple years ago and the blank has split. I'd like to take it apart and redo the blank.

Thanks.

use the transfer punch set from HF, the hole in one of the end fittings is ever so slightly bigger than the other. Find the punch that only fits through one end, knock out one end, then knock out the other end. I've done it a number of times successfully.

Nancy, the nib will unscrew and then you'll e able to insert a punch (hope you have a HF set) and punch out the final and the bushing that the nib screws into.

Don't have them, but easy enough to pick up. I was looking at the HF site. Which set will be the most useful?
