Sketch pencil apart???????

I made an artist sketch pencil and had it together before I realized that my bushing are to small [}], and am not sure how to take apart. [:I]
Can I use a punch on the end of the mechanism with out damaging it? How would you suggest I take it apart?

My suggestion would be to make sure you check new bushing sizes BEFORE you turn a pen.
Ok just use a really big hammer.[]

You can unscrew the mechanism from the one end the use the HF punches to knock out the other parts.
