I've been looking around for just plain solid colored blanks. Acrylic, lucite, plastic. Non-wood.

Red, orange, yellow, blue, etc. in vibrant solid colors.

It seems that when I do find a solid colored blank, there are sparkles mixed in, corian effect, or pearlized, etc.

I have found solid black, but little else.

Also, if I can be more picky, I would prefer the material to not be translucent...I don't like painting tubes if I can help it.

I know a guy here cut up a water main pipe. That blue wasn't bad...Maybe I'll look him up.

Sources for material like this?

Thanks.

BTW, I know that I could probably cast my own, but I don't have the equipment.

Hi, I have several colors of solid corian with no mixed pigment in them. I can post a photo later. I have a retired woodworkers sale to go to!

We have yellow, orange, black, and green. What size do you need? The are real thick at least an inch square. The green is probably about 3/4. How much do you want? and what pen are you making? Let me know if you are interested. $2.00 a blank or trade??
