Sierra Pen Question

I trimmed my blank on the table saw and got into the tube a little. I shortened it by 1/32 to 1/16th. Is this enough to cause the pen not to function properly or is there some room with this kit? I do't want to turn and assemble it if it on a black Titanium kit and make it unusable. I know I could dissasemble but want to avoid it on a good kit. I know some kits have closer tollerances than others.

You probably will be alright with this slight "modification." Anyway, the Sierra is such an easy kit to assemble and disassemble that if the mod was too much you could take it apart and go on your merry way.

Thanks Cav! Actually it is even less than 1/32nd after measuring a full size tube.
