I'm needing to add new click pens to inventory and looking at the Sierra button click. Has the design been changed so it does not use the spacer on the refill?

Bear Tooth Woods definitely has the new design that does not need the spacer.
There are most probably other suppliers that have now got them as well.

I have a few of the new ones -- in contrast to the "Classic"

The length of click tube has been standardized. The click seems smooth on operation. Too soon to comment on durability, but the "classic" has not had returns, so far.

Yes, for several months now. Can't hurt to ask, when you order--some plating choices may still be the old style for some vendors.
