Due to an unfortunate error (long word for DUMB) I have 1 barrell that is 1/16 short. .062 is 1 15/16 long rather than 2" for the slimline. Since it is great figured Walnut I'm wondering if it will work being that short? Don't want to waste a kit if it won't.

Slimlines are very flexible when it comes to length. Just be careful when pressing in the transmission (i.e. check the fit of the refill often while pressing in the transmission instead of pressing in to the line)

John, if it isn't too late, just use it for the upper barrel. Otherwise, like Stan said, just press the transmission in 1/16" less than you normally would.
