could someone tell how to make a pin with shell casing or tell me were to git instruction to make one im new to pen makeing
i made about 20 pens and im hooked thanks olejon

Try the "search" function on this forum for tips & tricks.
These guys are very clever and generous in sharing their skills and advice. I've tried a few shell casings myself - my problem isn't so much as making the pen as it is finding a durable finish for the brass casing. Let me know if you figure it out.

Gordon, the most durable finish will be powder coating, I use a FP then wipe on poly until can afford powder coating equipment. Some like the natural patina that comes on the brass from us so use no finish at all. My first ones were like that

For a different look and durable finish, get nickle plated casings.
