This is the last step in assembly of a pen using the Sharpie refills.
Completely assemble the pen and test fit. Cut notches in the fins on the snap cap. The fins will give the glue something to grap.
Apply a small amount of five minute epoxy glue making sure the glue covers a couple of the notches cut in the previous step.
Insert the lower barrel into the cap. Let the pen set for at least 5 minutes allowing the glue to dry.
Remove the pen cap. The Sharpie snap cap will remain the the pen cap in perfect position allowing for a perfect snap.
If you notice any glue on the refill you can just use your finger nail to remove it. The material is Delrin like and glue does not stick to it.
