How do you all go about sharpening your pen end reamers.

I have been sharpening mine by hand on a fine grit grinding wheel. But it has become very slightly cone shaped. There has to be a better way.

When my steel bladed mill got dull I just bought a carbide bladed mill head. I didn't want to ruin any pens due to the mill not being square when I could get the head for $20. Don't think I'll have to worry about dulling the carbide mill for quite some time.

Capn Eddie has a great video on sharpening one. #95 I think.

The first one I tried to sharpen I did on a running grinding wheel and almost killed myself. My dad tried that one too. I turn the grinding wheel by hand now, much slower, and use coarse sandpaper to finish it up. I usually prefer to buy a new one after the third or fourth sharpening, however, to keep the blades even.
