I recently made a couple pens that are special to me and showed them to my old wood shop teacher. He then started showing me some pens that are important to him. It got me wanting to some pens that have special meaning to other pen turners. So show them off!

My wife and I went on a Greek Island cruise for our honeymoon a couple months ago. I was really pumped to see the Parthenon, and it was an awesome experience. I managed to bring home a small olivewood branch that I found on the ground as we were walking down from the acropolis. I made 2 pens out of it. A Jr. Zeus for display (seemed fitting), and a Sierra pen to use. They arent the best or most interesting Olivewood pens I've made but they're by far my favorites.

Very nice! Make sure you keep these, the sentimental value will grow year by year.

I get all my kits at exoticblanks.com. They're close and Ed is awesome at answering turning questions
