Wich glue should I use to glue together several different wood together for a blank? In the past I have always used medium CA withut any problems but that is costly. Wood regular yellow wood glue work ok?

Thanks

Yellow wood glue will work, provided you give it time to FULLY cure out. I always use thick CA, as it's what I know. Gorilla Glue, 5 minute epoxy and others also work.

For simple segments, I use medium or thick CA. But for complex segments where time is needed to get several segments and brass or aluminum spacers in place, I use 20 or 30 minute epoxy.

Yellow glue will work but it will probably take 12 to 24 hours of setting to cure to a trustable bond for turning.
