Check these out. I scored some nice blanks!

I went into my local wood store, Albuquerque Exotic Woods, and found some gems. I paid about $10 for the lot.

The first two are spalted maple burl.
The second two are ambrosia maple burl.
The last one is spalted oak.

I can't wait to see them on a pen!

Got the spalted oak by the bucket full around here....and it never gets old seeing them pieces! Nice score!

I've never gotten into pressure casting. I'll just turn them and stabilize with CA.
