Sceptre RB finial?

Quick question. I know it's a rather small finial, but has anyone ever knocked the finial out of a Sceptre RB to turn a custom one? About to start on two of these kits with some brass accents on one and aluminum on the other and didn't want to start hammering on them if someone else has already tried and figured out all you do is "booger" up a $30 kit :biggrin:

Posted this topic yesterday from work and didn't have the kits handy. Figured I would ask and see if I got any responses before I left work. They look rather simple to pop out. So I should be fine.
