Saving brass tubes

What is the best method to save a brass tube after the blank has blown out ? Also,How do you remove the glue from the tube. I need to save the tube if I can! Don't have time to order another tube. Also can you get replacemet tubes for the Jr Emperor & Jr Gent ? Joe

turn the blank off and resand the tube. you can buy replacement tubes for most pens but I do not know about the jr emperor because it is so new. tubes are typically fifty cents a set.

If I save the tubed I soak them in acentone, it disolves ca and epoxy glue.

If you blow the blank just use your parting tool and remove the rest of the blank and the glue. Take light cuts and you can remove the glue with no problem.
