I had a friend ask for a carbon fiber cig. and wanted to get is engraved and infilled. The laser melted the blank. It was almost sticky to the touch. I disassembled the upper part and returned the upper part, very carefully, then infilled the blank and reassembled. I think the end result was pretty good. Russell
