If you're looking for a multi tooth drive center in MT2 that you can also use with the Beall Colette drop by Woodcraft and pick up the Wood River 5/8" Multi Tooth drive center for $19.99. It has a 3/4" shoulder behind the drive and before the taper that fits the 3/4 Beall perfectly. No need to buy a steb and have it turned down. I haven't checked yet to see if they also have a dead center that will work the same.

Okay I have one like that and I just ran down and tried it out. It is true that it has the 3/4" shoulder but I found out that if you just put the shoulder in there, there is not enough meat to prevent wobble. If you run it all the way up to just before the teeth then it is more stable but then the end of the blank is dangerously close to the collett chuck.

Thanks rj you are probably right. Mine seemed to work fine but I only tried it once.
