Satin Nickle Finishes

I once again would like to call upon your collective wisdom. How durable is the satin nickle finish offered on many of the kits these days? The hardware in my kitchen has it and it seems to do well. I have a customer that wants something a little different and I think the satin nickle would pair nicely with it but for what I'm getting paid, I don't want a second class finish. While I'm at it, how about some of the other satin finishes out there?

Satin nickle finish works for us. We have not had any comebacks.

Satin finish hold up well for me, I'd say that they are better than some of the gold plating finishes. FWIW

I find the satin nickel finish wears better than the "standard" and even the "upgrade" gold finish...
Chrome is also a hard wearing finish as is Black TN and the TN Gold... The Satin Gold is also a good wearing finish.
I stopped using the basic gold finish on my pens after seeing how quickly they start to brass... fortunately it was before I started selling pens, so I did not have to worry about comebacks...

I don't think you will be disappointed with the satin nickel. As you probably know you get what you pay for and its worth the price.
