Same Pen BLANK...Different Name

Hello All,
Just passing along some new found Knowledge.

The Blue Hawaii Blank from Bear Tooth woods is the same as the Blue Illusion @ Woodcraft.

THe Crimson Celluloid @ Craft Supply is the Scarlett Mesh @ Woodcraft.

I thought that they looked the same...and they are....the only diff is the Blue Hawaii is round and the ZBlue Illusion is square....

It's also called Blue Marble and Crimsom Marble respectively at CSUSA and is available in 5/8 and 7/8 square sizes They are also available from WoodPen Pro. I just can't remember the names []

Hi,
I've made a wedding pen out of the white marble celluloid from
CSUSA and I'd like to make a matching base. But CSUSA isn't able
to provide celluloid in different sizes. They apparently receive
it already cut into blanks.

Anyone know where I might be able to get that material in something
like 4" x 4" or 5" x 5" size? Normal blank thickness is fine.

packermudgeon, if you can't find the larger blanks, you could glue up 4 or 5 penblanks and use that instead.

I BELIEVE that's TRUE!!!

Unfortunately, My white will make THEIR white look gray, but you were smart and also ordered a couple pen blanks - so you will have a B-U-T-FUL result!!!
