I was thinking of trying the Round Top European Pencil From AS BHW-085. Does it use the Scmidht Mechanism? These look like a good choice for some lower priced pen / pencil sets.

To my knowledge they do not use the Schmidt mechanism. The one they use is pretty old fashioned. The Schmidt is used in the ElGrande pencil and can be used in the PFC.

Hi,

Definitely not the schmidt mech. The use the same mechanism as the parker flat top or polaris pencil etc..... It's pretty reliable, as far as the ones i tried but i prefer and by far the schmidt ones.
