Rollerball pen parts breaking

Does anyone have an answer to why the plastic parts on the PSI rollerball kit breaks with the pressure of the spring behind the cartridge? I am finding about 10% of my pens have this problem. I have even cut 2 coils of the spring to reduce the pressure, but I don't think this is the answer.

Welcome to the IAP. I, and a lot of others here, would highly recommend that you switch to either Berea or Craft Supplies kits.

I wouldn't be so quick to condem PSI. Call them first, they need to know about problems. Can't be solved if they don't know. My experience is they genuinely want to satisfy the customer.
