The Le Roi Elegant Royale in Rhodium has a quirk that turners should know about. The transmission is a very small amount larger than the transmissions for the other finishes.
What that means to turners is the transmission from a Rhodium kit will be a little tight but will work fine in the other finishes but a transmission from the other finish kits MIGHT be a little loose in the Rhodium which MIGHT cause slippage when extending or retracting the tip. The few I've tested it did not. It is an easy fix...since the finial cap is not removed to change the refill a spot of blue loctite applied before the cap is pushed onto the transmission during assembly will take care of it.
