Today was the day-----yup I sawed up my killer Rosewood Burl slab.
Thought you folks might like seeing a couple pics---anyone want to buy a box of cut offs:biggrin:
You got to remember when I bought the Rosewood---it sells by the pound---ouch. So even the scraps cost.
I still have to saw the blanks to length.

The only way I can make any money off a burl like this is the fact that I am a pen maker also. This Rosewood burl is my best selling pen right now.
How folks buy these just for resale and make any money is beyond me.

Jeff---I am working on that today---we have a show coming up this weekend and I need to get a couple of pens restocked---plus I got some DI burl last week that I need to get turned.
