I will never use a gouge on the top of a stopper. I will never use a gouge on top of a stopper. Especially when it's just about finished. I have done this before....I'm under the impression that 2 halves do not make a whole.

Two wrongs don't make a right........But three rights do make a left.

Learned that from a driving instructor. LOL

However in NY three rights gets you lost...not back to where you started. Besides...to me a right is a left (according to my wife.) Anyway I think I used a left hand gouge on the stopper top. 1 second kills business.
