I am looking for some Red material. Not flecked, not sparkley, just Red. Sort of a bright candy apple red. I checked the usuall sorces but only find the fleckeley stuff. Anyone know of a sorce?

Thanks Greasy

I got a variety of Corion on line and it included some opaque red that shined up well, as red as a fire truck, but I don't have hardly any left. you may try a hardware store that sells counter tops.

There are several people that make their own castings and I'm sure one of them will make you some red blanks if the price is right. Ask on the casting and stabilizing forum.

Since you didn't specify natural or manufactured, here's a Bloodwood Atlas. I got both the wood and the kit from Woodcraft.

Bahama cherry is a very nice red if you want wood. PM me and we can work a trade for a something in the neighborhood of 1.5 inches by 5.5 inches or other lengths if I can accommodate your request. (Won't know until I return home from Florida)

I got some nice trasparent red plexiglass from Tap Plastics' junk bin.
It came out translucent, but with a deep color.
