recessed cap threads

I'm interested in turning a pen with a cap, but looking for suggestions on a kit to start with that might be amenable to recessing the female threads into the cap so there is no hardware showing when the cap is on. Anything helps, thanks!

You can make that happen with a Churchill or Elgrande kit.
