Real Bowling ball blanks

I'm wnodering how many have attemped to make a pen out of a bowling ball?
Looking for insight as to gluing up the curved segments without telltale glue lines,
What adhesive is the best.

You might check the earlier postings. I believe Bev tried that before coming up with the material in actual blanks and found the coating of the bowling ball very thin and sawing bowling balls very dangerous.

Nah! I already cut one up and made a perfect fit out of one blank.
I was just looking for some pointers.I think I can get at least 1/2 dozen pens out of one ball plus center rings and finials.
