You don't just Google story wood. It's all about the hunt. If you want easy than buy some bog oak. Email people, travel, build a story, find a story. I mean no disrespect. I'll share one of my stories. I contacted a Site where they were rebuilding a sailing ship, a very famous tall ship in Canadian history, got a hold of a captain, got him to send me a very tiny piece of a ship of which 90 percent got put through a wood chipper to deter scavengers. I build 2 pens. One for me one for him. Those pens are now priceless.
Best bet is to find something that has meaning in your neighborhood. An old school, a factory, a government building. When you tell these people what you do you would be amazed how receptive they are.
