I have some wooden pen blanks that are the cast offs from lazer cut blanks. As I never throw anything away I was wondering if I could insert polymer clay into the cut outs to make a blank, and if I can use PC with the wood blanks what temp should I cure them at and for how long?

several people have made Worthless Wood PC pens around here. PC doesn't shrink too much so just pack the void with PC and bake it per the direction on the package (they can vary). The temp never exceeds 300f degrees so the wood is never an issue (paper doesn't even burn until 451f).

If you glue the tube in first then it will help cook the PC from the inside and it is a more even cook. Just pay attention that the PC doesn't get too hot or it will darken in color and look burnt.

For premo clay its 275 degrees for 30 minutes... But check your package :) im just giving you a general idea... once you start doing stuff with PC you will get addicted in my opinion. I love it!
