I got a little carried away with a gouge on a PR blank and I ended up with a couple small pits. I can't hardly go any deeper to try and turn them off.

Can I fill these pits by building up layers of CA? Normally I would wet sand with MM and then use polish once that was done, can I do the same with CA?

Sometimes I can fix an acrylic blank with sanding dust and CA (just like finishing burls). Doesn't always work on acrylics.

Filling with just CA can work, too. Treat the CA finish or repair the same as an acrylic, though you'll want to let the CA cure for a while if you fill pits.
