Has anyone tried the Algonquin kit from William Wood-Write Ltd. I was just wondering what the quality was like. It has the same tube size as the JR Gent II but not I am not sure whether is uses the same bushings?

Thanks,

Wade

I haven't tried that one, but I recently made a couple of their Canadiana fountain kits and REALLY like them - both the process and the final product.

The only drawback is the odd tooling - you'll need to buy some new drill bits unless you have those oddball sizes on hand. I bit the bullet and invested in the bits and mills and am happy with the decision, as I'll be making a lot of these.

When I was looking for pen boxes, Bill told me that these kits are basically the same as the Cambridge (or Cambridge Hybrid (?))

Cheers!
