Question about Amboyna Burl

A co worker wants me to make 3 pens for her for X Mas. She wants them in Amboyna Burl. I found some at AZ but it's $7 each. Anybody know where I can get 4 pen blanks of amboyna burl either stabilized or not for less then $7. Since she wants 2 of them engraved I have have enough time to send them to Ken for engraving.

You can also try isaacrapelje. He seels verneer grade for $4.50 or $4 for 10 or more. I've bought from him and it is top grade

On more than one occasion I've bought large turning blanks of Amboyna Burl on EBAY and cut them into pen and bottle stopper blanks on my bandsaw. They're not stabilized but everything I've gotten so far didn't need it.

I don't have a bandsaw yet.[] But with the money I get from my customers this X Mas I will have one soon.[] I just got to figure out which one. I will be asking for advice on that too.[]
